Louder Doesn't Mean Faster
Effective July 1, 2010, all ATVs and dirt bikes operated on public lands in Colorado will be required to meet a 96dB(A) sound limit measured using the SAE J 1287 sound test (aka the 20" stationary test). Most vehicles will easily meet this standard. Watch this space in the coming months for dates and places to test your ride. In the mean time, check out our sound page for more information.
