Colorado Parks and Wildlife Offices

Colorado Parks and Wildlife manages the state’s OHV and snowmobile registration program from which funds are available to improve and maintain OHV trails. The main Colorado Parks and Wildlife Office website is http://cpw.state.co.us/.

Colorado State Forest State Park

The Colorado State Forest is the only area managed by Colorado State Parks containing trails open to OHVs. The State Forest contains roads and trails suitable for four-wheel drives, all-terrain vehicles, and motorcycles. A trail map is available at the Moose Visitors Center and on the Colorado State Parks website.

Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area

Riding opportunities in the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area are available in the Four Mile and Texas Creek management areas. Additional riding opportunities can be found on nearby public lands managed by the United States Forest Service.
