U.S. Bureau of Land Management Offices
Colorado contains 8.4 million acres of lands managed by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The BLM is an office of the Department of Interior. BLM office staff can tell you where, when, and what types of vehicles are allowed on trails and roads in their regions. Typically, overview maps of each BLM area are available for sale in person at the BLM office. These maps are usually for sale at sporting goods and outdoor stores too. The main BLM website is http://www.blm.gov/. The BLM Colorado State Office website is http://www.co.blm.gov/.
