Sun Enterprises – Fall ATV + Sportsman Skills Competition

This was Sun’s 3rd ATV + Sportsman Skills Competition, which is staged in a large dirt lot just North of the store. Sun is located at 8877 N. Washington in Thornton, Colorado and it’s amazing that they can put this event on at their store.

They also had a small shooting range with targets and paintball guns to test the riders marksmenship skills.

The Stay The Trail trailer was popular as many of the contestants were looking for new places to ride there ATV’s.

The weather was perfect all day and the small grand stand area was full of spectators. I was told that the spring event draws even more people, so I look forward to going back again next year. This event is really for the general public and not so much for racers. If you get a chance to go, it looks like a lot of fun.
