National Public Lands Day Project, September 25th – Sulfur Ranger District

This years project consists of the construction of several structures in order to complete approximately 5 miles of new motorized trail (Tim’s Trail) in the Upper Beaver Creek area of the Sulphur Ranger District. This is a continuation of last year’s project which completed approximately 2.5 miles of Tim’s Trail. This year’s project will complete the remaining 2.5 miles of trail and allow public use of the entire 5 miles of the trail.

Spring Kickoff Party with Stay The Trail and the Denver Outlaws

The Denver Outlaws Lacrosse team and Stay The Trail will be hosting a Spring Kickoff Party on Sunday, May 2nd at Invesco Field. This is a fundraiser aimed at helping us continue our outreach efforts throughout the state of Colorado.

The 2010 International Sportsmans Expo!

KBPI Colorado Stimulus Package Round 3.5 at Rampart Range

As a follow-up to the Moab trip the prior weekend, KBPI joined members of the Rampart Range Motorized Management Committee, Stay The Trail, and the South Platte Ranger District to complete a few projects at two of the staging areas along Rampart Range Road. Mother nature didn't cooperate, but we still had a great day!

KBPI Colorado Stimulus Package Round 3 in Moab

Stay The Trail joined KBPI's Willie B and Clifton Slay from American Rock Rods for the Colorado Stimulus Package Round 3 in Moab, Utah. This provided a great opportunity for us to promote the responsible recreation ethic on the ground with enthusiasts, and was a great event!

Rangely Rock Crawling!

The Rangely Rock Crawling club, in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management, hosted their annual Rock Crawl Competition on September 26th. This event draws in participants from all over the western part of Colorado.

Rampart Range Annual Fall Poker Run

Stay The Trail continued its attendance at the annual RRMMC Poker Runs, held in Southwestern Douglas County twice a year. These fundraising events help with the management of the Rampart Range area, as well as provide donations for other organizations.

Labor Day Weekend… Taylor Park!

For the second consecutive year, Stay The Trail was invited by the US Forest Service to visit Taylor Park for the Labor Day holiday weekend. This area, in the Central Colorado Rockies, is a very popular recreation area and our presence was well recieved.

Stay The Trail Celebrates Memorial Day at the North Sand Hills

The education trailer made its annual visit to the North Sand Hills this past Memorial Day, in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management's Kremmling Field Office. The North Sand Hills also connect to the extensive trail system within Colorado's State Forest State Park.
