Douglas County, Colorado
Located 35 miles southwest of Denver, this area features more than 22 designated trails for dirt bikes and ATVs. The trails range in elevation from 6,500 feet to over 8,500 feet with terrain and challenges varied enough for riders of all abilities. Dispersed camping sites and fee campgrounds are available.
From Sedalia: Head south out of town on CO-67 S/Manhart St. Continue approx 9.8 miles to Rampart Range Rd.
Located in the Pike-San Isabel National Forest about 35 miles southwest of Denver are more than 100 miles of (50" or less) trails for off-road motorcycles and ATVs. The trails traverse several hundred square miles of national forest at elevations ranging from about 6,500 feet to over 8,500 feet. There are currently over 22 designated trails with terrain and challenges varied enough for riders of all abilities (more new trails are scheduled for 2010). Ride in / ride out dispersed camping sites and fee campgrounds are available. Note that not all of the trails in an area will be open to all vehicle types. Follow the Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUM)s and signage for the area and ride only on trails open to and wider than your OHV.
