Primarily ATV and singletrack trails, the Groundhog Park area offers a mix of more advanced riding opportunities. Being the link between the La Garita system to the north and the Del Norte Area to the south, Groundhog Park offers access to one of the largest systems of trails in the southern part of Colorado.

From Del Norte: Head west out of town on Grand Ave/US-160 W from Oak St. approx 9.0 miles to Co Rd 18. Turn north at Co Rd 18 and follow approx 1.4 miles to Co Rd 15. Turn east on Co Rd 15 and after approx 0.3 miles, turn north on Co Rd 65/Fs 650 Rd. Follow Co Rd 65/Fs 650 Rd approx 3.5 miles to Co Rd 26A. Stay on Co Rd 26A for approx 18.1 miles to trail access.
