The trails that lead out from Guanella Pass Road are rocky and sometimes very narrow. Looking down from over 13,000 feet from the top of McClellan Mountain provides for great views of the Santiago and Waldorf mines. Easy access from Georgetown makes this a great area to explore.

Note: The mines are privately held, so please stay out of the old buildings.
From Georgetown: Head south on Rose St. towards 2nd St. Turn left onto 2nd St/Co Rd 381 and Continue to follow Co Rd 381 approx 2.5 miles to Co Rd 352/Leavenworth Creek Rd.
