1226: rocky single and dual track through woods with higher elevation

1227: rocky single and dual track through woods with lower elevation

This trail system has many different loops and sections of mainly intermediate trails in the Rand and Gould area. The trails immediately to the east of Colorado Highway 125 and north of FR 106 are predominantly easy with a few intermediate short sections. The sections to the west of 125 and south of 106 are mostly intermediate with a few moderately difficult sections. The trails south of Gould and north of County Road 21 are split between some intermediate sections and some advanced sections. This trail system has something for everyone.

How To Get There

From Walden: Head South on Main Street and Follow CO-125 south out of town about 27 miles. Turn Right at Forest Service Rd 106.

From Granby: Head West on Agate Ave (US-40) about 3 miles. Turn Right on CO-125. Follow about 26 miles north. Turn Left at Forest Service Rd 106.

From Gould: Head SW on JCR 21 about 3 miles. Parking near Pines Campground. Trailhead for 1227.
