Offering great access to Vail, Avon and Edwards this trail system has many popular 4WD forest roads and ATV routes. With great views of the mountains north of I-70 as well as the ski areas to the south, the area also provides access to Muddy Pass to the north.

From Vail: Head north on Vail Rd from Meadow Dr and follow approx 0.1 miles under I-70. Turn west at I-70 Frontage Rd W and follow approx 1.0 miles to Red Sandstone Rd. Contine approx 3.3 miles to a slight left onto Piney Lake Rd. Continue on Piney Lake Rd approx 2.7 miles to trail access.
