Restoring an illegal 'fall line' route up Whale Peak adjacent to Georgia Pass

Saturday, August 20, 2016
Today and tomorrow Stay The Trail is working with the Wildlands Restoration Volunteers and the Friends of Dillon Ranger District to restore an illegal 'fall line' route up Whale Peak adjacent to Georgia Pass. The trail was created by some uneducated motorized users. This type of damage to alpine tundra takes a lot of hard work and many years to return. Always Stay The Trail, there are plenty of great views from the LEGAL routes!
