2014 Season Summary

Since 2003,the Responsible Recreation Campaign, and its flagship Stay The Trail Colorado (STT) Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) educational program, have been focused on encouraging responsible OHV recreation on the roads and trails that are open to motorized use on public lands within the State of Colorado. In 2014, STT continued to offer educational outreach over the season in a variety of ways. The STT educational trailers were staffed by STT employees and volunteers, and operated statewide to spread the message of responsible motorized recreation. 2014 also saw the update of our website, staythetrail.org, to a new user friendly, easier to update format.

This award recognizes innovative & successful trail sharing efforts, programs, & systems.


American Trails' 21st National Trails Awards Program honors people and programs at the 21st American Trails International Symposium. The awards celebration was held at Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, Arizona, April 16, 2013.
